Within the framework of the EU project GREENSMES, we invite all micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Montenegro to apply for participation in pilot activities aimed at green transition and capacity building.
The objective is to support MSME modernization and their green transformation through expert guidance for raising awareness, understanding new trends, developing sustainable products and services, managing innovation, and creating green business concepts. Applicants will be connected with experts who will provide support in strategy, planning, impact assessment, and implementation, using a transnational approach through collaboration and exchange with partners from other countries.
Supported activities
- Building capacity for innovation management: tailored workshops / training programmes to raise awareness and empower employees to drive green and sustainable initiatives;
- Developing programmes /concepts for innovation challenges (e.g. hackathons, case study competitions) in collaboration with educational institutions with the aim to gather external ideas and strengthen partnerships;
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) calculates the environmental impact of products or services throughout their entire lifecycle;
- Development of energy efficiency projects, preparation of project applications, access to funding, and adoption of sustainability practices.
- Support for green innovation product/services: idea evaluation, IPR strategy, product development services, business development services.
Funding
- Up to €3,000 per project/applicant (including VAT)
- Support is provided by experts offering technical and methodological assistance
